"Rebuilding the 'Temple/"
Last August during a time of prayer GOD made it clear to me that it was time to take a break. It's been 16 years since I had a significant vacation and I've been working excessive hours all these years to help provide for the ministry while doing much traveling for missions to: USA, Swaziland, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa and Nicaragua.
Though we didn't know back then all the details of the sabbatical I began to prepare myself for it. It's not easy to slow down. What is even harder is to know that it will be a leap of faith to trust GOD for his provision since PEI doesn't have funds to pay for the sabbatical.
The sabbatical is from May 2, 2011 - May 1, 2012. During that time I will be writing a book about my "Journey" with diabetes and produce a DVD version, get my health in order, built "balance" in my Spiritual life, learn how to "love myself" so I can continue to show the love of GOD to others, reconnect with many I haven't had time to be with during my hectic schedule over the past 16 years and take a much need vacation. To where? I have a great idea but I will reveal that later.
During this year I am trusting GOD for the finances for: food, to pay the few bills I have, gas for my car and the ability to make some trips to see people I haven't seen in years.
Gift certificates to WalMart, Turkey Hill (Gas) & Dollar Tree would be a blessing.
Cash is a great blessing or you can get VISA cards at Wal Mart that you can load with any amount .
These gifts are not tax deduct-
ible. You make checks out to me personally since the funds will be for my personal use.
Monthly support from Shiloh & Manship Chapel will be used for projects I help in Africa on a monthly basis throughout the year. Those funds are $100 per month less than my current commitments in Africa.
My current income during the sabbical to date: -$100 per. month (for mission giving) and 2 months behind (-$200).
WHERE do you send your "Love Gift"?
You can send your "Love Gifts to: Pastor Chris - P.O. Box 424, Quarryville, PA 17566. Checks should be made payable to Chris Cote.
Please do not send checks made out to Shiloh Community Fellowship earmarked: For Chris Cote or made out to Project Earth International during this year of sabbatical.
I want to thank you for your prayers and expressions of love during this time in my life. It has carried me through and continues to be a huge blessing to me.
