"Waves Roll In"
Painted: Thursday ~ April 20, 2017
It was such a beautiful day, and I was thinking about the beach. Not the kind of beach like the Jersery Shore. I was thinking more of a beach like Matha's Vineyard after living there for a summer. With the picture in my head, I sat down and began choosing colors.
It was time to try some new techniques and try to get some life and motion into the painting. It was working for me. As I painted I could really picture myself there and the wind coming off the ocean and the mist from those mighty crashing waves. This was not a place to swim.
The more I painted the more excited I became about how so many details were falling right into place as though someone was there instructing me. Yes, someone was. Who better to guide you than the one who created it all?
In roughly an hour and 45 minutes GOD had done it again. It is one of my favorite ones so far.
God bless you!
