A note from the director:
In early June I knew in my Spirit there was a difficult decision coming my way. It became clearer as I prayed that it would mean Fika & Bo staying in Africa. I didn't want to listen to that still small voice telling me this. I rejected it and was confident when a way opened to enroll them at EMU that I was not going to have to make that decison. After a few weeks in Africa again and again I was faced with this. Finally I asked God for two things. 1) if I must make this decision I needed God to allow something to happen that would leave me no choice in the matter. 2) that God would send me someone from the USA to be with me in the final days in Swaziland and fly back with me. Within hours it happened.
It was a difficult thing to tell "my sons" that I was dismissing them from the ministry and that they would not be coming back to the USA. Even now I struggle with it. But, I'm confident that it is God who made the decision and that I MUST do what HE wants and not what I want. We all need your prayers. In the days that followed (4 weeks) everyone was able to accept this and we went on just as before with the exception of Fika & Bo not doing ministry with me. They will persue their education and ministry through music. They are doing well and appreciate all you did for them while they were in the USA.

PEI policies on communication and support
PEI has strict policies designed to protect this ministry, it's supporters and those who have been a part of our ministry as team members. We do not permit past team members to send or receive E-mail or letters to or from those people they met during the course of their ministry with PEI. We also do not permit phone calls. They may however communicate with PEI to update us on their status and we will share that information as it is made available. It's important for Fika & Bo to be able to persue their lives in Africa unhindered by well meaning gestures of kindness from the body of Christ in the USA. The same GOD who blessed them and provided for them here, is their GOD in Africa and HE will continue to bless them and provide for them. Your prayers are important during what is still a difficult time for all of us. If you should receive a letter, E-mail or phone call from either Fika or Bo we would appreciate you passing that information along to us. It is our prayer that you will respect our policies. If you have questions please contact me. Thank you for your support.

400 Friends of Fika & Bo Support
If you have sent support for 400 Friends Fund, your refund check will be processed by late August. Due to the policies of PEI we are unable to pass those funds along to Fika & Bo. GOD will take care of them. If you would like the funds to be used to help the continued ministry of PEI, please contact me. There is a significant financial need as we reorganize this ministry and take care of some final expenses related to Fika & Bo's time here in the USA.
