Serving others with a joyful heart!
GOD loves a "cheerful giver! One who gives their time and service to others
because they love GOD won't go without notice.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45)
The children at the Dow Family Children's Home preach the most amazing sermons with their lives. Judith ("Martha") got her nickname from me. I gave it to her a long time ago because of that fact that you will ALWAYS find her working. She is ALWAYS ready to serve. She does it cheerfully! Even though she has many struggles (as we all do), it amazes me how she overcomes and serves. YES, Mary's sister Martha didn't take time
Don't forget to sign the Guest Book - we love hearing about you!

to sit at the feet of JESUS and listen because she was busy serving HIM! That's where Judith got her new name! I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't take time to sit at JESUS' feet and listen to HIM. I am saying there's a time for everything. The disciples of JESUS spent time doing both. JESUS desire was for them to serve others and not just sit around talking about it. JESUS spent time alone - with HIS FATHER in HEAVEN, then went on serving.
Greg and MaryRose Dow and their family are servants! They are laying down their lives day and night in the name of JESUS for these dear children and more. The questions for this week? Who do you serve? How do you serve? When do you serve? How much do you serve? Do you serve with a joyful heart? I am thinking very carefully about these questions. I'm not talking about working my way into heaven. You know we can't do that. I am talking about the example that JESUS gave us with HIS life. "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served , but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45) God bless you today!
